Though we tend to give our dogs credit for being this side of genius...
they are NOT human!
They will NEVER develop a verbal language!
Rather, the have a Senses based communication.!
Sight, Hearing, Body language, and most relevant is INTENSION/ENERGY!

WRONG!!! Two factors come into play here:
1. Dogs have a natural instinct to migrate and explore new territory. Unleashed/Unsupervised... off they go!
2. Who is leading who during the walk?
If your dog is ahead of you during your walk, he/she is the pack leader. The leash is merely stopping the dog from going further!
Go ahead, drop the leash... find out! (DON'T)!
Rather, The dog WILL follow a strong pack leader and NEVER want to be too far away!
